🖧 #128. First setup of a new switch: Core-R
Secure a new switch:
1. Name it **Core-R**.
2. Set the encrypted privileged password to **secret55**.
3. Put the password **secret55** on the console and ask for it at login.
4. Encrypt all passwords.
What to set up
- ○ Hostname Core-R
- ○ enable secret
- ○ Console password
- ○ Console asks at login
- ○ Passwords encrypted
💡 Type the commands one per line, the way you would on a real Cisco device. Short forms work too (conf t, int fa0/1, no shut). Lines like enable, configure terminal, exit and end are fine anywhere.
